The Mission of YExplore Yosemite Adventures is to encourage travelers of all ages to get outside and make a connection with nature and wilderness through educational outdoor adventures that inspire personal growth while developing a deeper understanding of conservation and stewardship.
We are a socially responsible company providing educational services that follow Leave No Trace principles to minimize our impact in nature and ensure the ecology of every site we visit will not be compromised. Our sustainable business model empowers local professionals who take ownership of every program we offer to benefit the local economy of each region where we operate and deliver a more positive experience for our visitors.
Areas of Service and Expertise
Every one of our Yosemite guides possess fundamental outdoor survival skills and a wealth of experience hiking, backpacking, and guiding throughout Yosemite's wilderness.Our accomplished professional photo guides specialize in natural photography and have attained several publishing credits. Every guide also owns a vast knowledge of Yosemite's natural history and terrain which allows us to offer many unique specialty outings throughout the park in all seasons.
Our leaders are required to obtain CPR, wilderness first aid and first responder training, California food handler certificates, and complete Leave No Trace outdoor ethics courses.
YExplore is a proud member of 1% for the Planet. 1% of all proceeds will benefit this organization to promote a healthier planet.
We are also certified Leave No Trace trainers and will provide educational services to ensure that the ecology of Yosemite will not be compromised.
Types of Experiences and Trips Provided
YExplore Yosemite Adventures is the only Yosemite Tour Company offering custom guided Yosemite experiences (Adventure Hikes, Half Dome Hikes, Multi Day Backpack Trips, Nature Walks, Birding Walks, Wildflower Walks, Snowshoe Hikes, and Photography Workshops) 12 months a year.
