ADA Accessibility Notes

The Pink House is a cheese and charcuterie shop and restaurant featuring local, fresh produce. It also sells gourmet merchandise.

The interior is decorated in the style of the 1850's-1900's, including reproduction wall paper and lighting from that era. Most of the furniture is antiques from local antique stores, and the table tops are from wood reclaimed from the damaged section of the house.

The outside patio features the original Genoa stone, as well as magnificent cedar trees that are believed to be planted in the early 1870's. The wraparound porch has been restored to exact specifications of the original and is an inviting place to sit and enjoy the magnificent view of the Sierras and the local deer.

Because the house is a historic landmark, guests are encouraged to wander through the rooms, where they can observe the original woodwork, art and other features of the house. There is no fee for visiting the house.

The Pink House is a registered historic landmark located in the historic district of Genoa, Nevada. Genoa is the oldest settlement in the state of Nevada.

Built in 1855, The Pink House is an outstanding example of Gothic Revival architecture and the house proudly showcases the original features of the house.

The Pink House was restored in 2015 with every effort made to preserve the original integrity of the house. The level of detail in the restoration earned The Pink House it's Preservation Certification from the National Parks Service.
