ADA Accessibility Notes

Yes

Get a taste of local culture at The Brewing Lair, located in Blairsden. All of our hand-crafted ales are locally inspired by our community and the Sierra Nevada. We produce seasonal IPAs, Saisons, and a shade of a dark brew.

Bring a picnic, play disc golf, use our wifi or enjoy a book, while sipping beer from our wilderness nook. You be the judge. We are open daily and enjoy making new friends.

Blairsden is a peaceful little town where artists, adventurers and entrepreneurs celebrate the fine art of living. Nearby, you'll find endless mountain bike trails at Downieville, hiking trails in Plumas and Tahoe National Forests, the middle fork Feather River, Gold Lakes, golf courses, and a few art studios. Follow a local to The Brewing Lair to quench your thirst, and soak in our little slice of heaven. We look forward to your visit. Cheers!

Eco-Friendly Notes

We free our spent grain to local sheep and cattle. Compost on site all the spent hops and brewing turb.

Locally or Family Owned Business Notes

Partners Rich (brew master) and Susan (that's me and I'm in charge of events, accounting, sales) own and operate the brewery full time. We distribute our beer to Sacramento, Tahoe, Reno and the local surroundings. I was born in Quincy, and Rich has lived in the area for 13 years.

We are passionate brewers, using ample amounts of quality ingredients to produce ales that we love to drink.

Pet Friendly Notes

We are pet friendly and expect all pet owners to keep an eye on their pets behavior and clean up after them. We sometimes have more dogs than people and more kids than adults.
