Scenic Viewpoint

ADA Accessibility Notes

Wheelchair accessible.

Located within Yosemite National Park, Sentinel Bridge is famous for its spectacular views of Half Dome reflected in the Merced River. From the bridge it is also possible to see Yosemite Falls.

The Cook's Meadow Loop trail crosses the bridge halfway through the hike and is a nice way to visit this area and the Valley floor around it.

There is a small parking area near the bridge but the free Yosemite Valley shuttle stop #11 is far more convenient in this highly trafficked area. It is also possible to cycle to the bridge.

Restrooms are not available here, the closest ones are located either at the Village or Lower Yosemite Falls.

Leashed pets and strollers are permitted in this area. Please pack out your trash to preserve this scenic viewpoints beauty.
