Northern Sierra Cascade

Subregions

The majestic Northern Sierra Cascade covers nearly sixteen thousand square miles of public lands, outdoor recreation opportunities, small towns and historic communities. Visitors will marvel at the unique geology of the region, particularly the hydrothermal features of the surprisingly under-appreciated Lassen Volcanic National Park, and explore hiking trails, lakes, waterfalls, petroglyphs, and so much more.
