Ages Festival is Appropriate For

All Ages

The Mono Basin Bird Chautauqua is not your ordinary bird festival. This three-day event includes science, art, field trips, and workshops, concluding with live music! Come experience birds, natural history, art, and activities for adults and kids.

Because of Mono Basin's rich bird life, dramatic natural setting, scientific importance and historical significance, it is an ideal location for learning in the field and exploring the natural wonder of the Eastern Sierra. The event occurs annually in the third weekend in June and is operated under permit with the Inyo National Forest.
