Once a gathering place on ancestral Washoe Tribal land, Meeks Bay at Lake Tahoe welcomes each guest as a friend. Comfortable lakefront lodging and modern campsites are available for your stay. You are invited to sunbathe on the lake's finest white sand beach, fish for Mackinaw trout or take advantage of the marina and water sports. The resort also offers a convenience store, snack bar and group picnic areas. It is the perfect base camp for entering the Desolation Wilderness, Sugar Pine State Park and surrounding areas.

This institution is operated under special use permit with the U.S. Forest Service Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit. This institution is an equal opportunity provider.

Picnic Areas : Meeks Bay is perfect for beach-front picnic gatherings with friends and families. Designated BBQ areas are available for reservation (for availability please call 530-525-6946).

Marina: Meeks Bay Resort's marina offers a full service marina with various amenities such as canoe, paddle boats, and kayak rentals, as well as boat tours and fishing excursions on Lake Tahoe.

Full Service Retail Store: Forget something? No problem - our retail store has it. Our Washoe Tribe has a full assortment of Native American crafts and culturally educational resources (books, maps, and guides). We also have Native American clothing and apparel.

Snack Bar: Enjoy a cook-to-order meal on the beach serving hotdogs, chips, hamburgers, and drinks. Ice cream floats and other refreshments are also available.

Parking: The Resort has parking for easy access and handicap access (Boat Dock, Snack Bar, & General Store) to our famous beach (fee required).

Pets are not allowed anywhere at the resort.
