Located near Yosemite National Park, Groveland Hotel is housed in two wonderful, old historic buildings - an 1849 Adobe Monterey Colonial Style and a 1914 Queen Ann wooden structure. It consists of 17 individually designed guest rooms - 2 have two twin beds, 12 have queen beds and 3 are two-room suites, with spa tub and fireplace. All have private baths, phones, FREE Wi-Fi, coffeemakers with grinders, down comforters, feather beds (alternative is available), guest robes, hairdryer, iron/board, and a sumptuous FREE hot breakfast is included in the rate.
The Cellar Door Restaurant is located in the Adobe Building, with an authentic Saloon for cocktails, beer and fine wine. A Conference Room can also double as a Banquet Room.
The 80 seat Courtyard is surrounded by gardens, seasonal flowers and lighted umbrellas. It is also home to Yosemite Courtyard Theater, with live performances/concerts from Memorial Day to mid-September.
ADA Accessibility Notes
There are no elevators in the two-story buildings. Downstairs guest rooms are accessible with wheelchairs, but no wheelchair access to showers. Some rooms have grab bars in the tubs and tub seats are available. Carpet accommodates wheelchairs nicely.
Bed and Breakfast Style
A major restoration was completed in 1992 to include individually controlled heat/air, period antiques and luxury linens. Most rooms have TV.
We strive to accommodate our guests with amenities to create a comfortable, sustainable atmosphere. We offer the option of reusing linens for multiple night stays, use water restrictors where appropriate, automated lighting controls, CFLs as appropriate, and laundry processing to minimize water, power and chemicals.
