Home of the Giant Fiddle of North America, Fiddletown is a historic Gold Rush town known for its cultural music heritage. The town is the home of the Annual Fiddlers Jam sponsored by the Fiddletown Community Center.

Each year thousands of fans and families make the trek to this Sierra foothills town to dance in the streets, watch the fiddle contests and observe the old timers jam for hours in a living room on the main street at a potluck party. Street vendors line the streets with crafts and food. Winetasting of premier wines of Fiddletown and the neighboring Shenandoah Valley are also a highlight of the festival.
