ADA Accessibility Notes

Ground level with a double door entry.

Most of Penn Valley is familiar with this wonderful ice cream and coffee shop featuring a 1950s soda fountain theme that offers “old fashioned ice cream and new fangled coffee.” Not only will you find all the old time favorites of the ‘50’s like sundaes, ice cream sodas and banana splits, you will also be relieved to know that if you love good coffee and espresso, like we do, Caleb’s is the place to go!

Caleb’s has become Penn Valley’s answer to “Cheers”. Along with 14 flavors of ice cream it offers a fantastic line of tea, bulk coffee, baked goods, candy from the past, nuts and trail mixes and novelty items. It is the only Wi-Fi spot in the area.

The owners, Jeromy and Sara Laurin have fast become active members of the Penn Valley community. The Laurins donate to the schools and help with many community service activities. Whether you are visiting from out of the area or a Penn Valley regular, the creamery is a delightful stop. Join many community members early for coffee and bagels, drop by for lunch and enjoy hot dogs, or come in during the afternoon or after dinner for ice cream treats.

Eco-Friendly Notes

Caleb's Creamery is committed to operating as a "green" business. To-go food and beverage items are served in paper cups and bowls, rather than Styrofoam containers. In-house service is in glass cups and bowls. Also, Caleb's buys organic milk that is packaged in cardboard boxes, rather than milk that is delivered in plastic containers.

As a patron of Caleb's, one can bring in his own coffee mug and receive a discount on coffee. In addition, special reusable "Caleb's tumblers" are available to be purchased and reused.

Locally or Family Owned Business Notes

Owner's Sara and Jeromy Laurin (former owners of Summer Thyme's Bakery, named after their daughter Summer), have named their new shop after their son Caleb. The Laurins are a cheerful, dedicated young family that have earned the respect of business owners and the Penn Valley community.
