Big Trees Dining Room
Located inside Yosemite National Park, the Big Trees Lodge's Dining Room is well-known for its culinary excellence. Chef McFann’s cuisine features an array of seasonal specialties as well as traditional favorites, including Pot Roast, fresh Trout and a sumptuous grilled Flat Iron Steak. Also, be sure to try some of his delicious Green Chili soup.
A Yosemite icon, the Big Trees Lodge Dining Room, formerly known as Wawona Dining Room, itself is traditional Victorian, with a rustic flare. Hand-painted hanging lights, featuring pictures of giant sequoias, are strung with small sequoia cones and cast a warm glow throughout the room. On warm summer nights, the veranda, which is adjacent to the dining room, is a classic spot to enjoy Big Trees' sumptuous fare. Cocktails can be enjoyed by the fireplace, on the veranda, in the beautiful Guest Lounge and on the lawn while relaxing in one of the inviting Adirondack chairs.
When the hotel is open, the Big Trees Dining Room serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Classic western-style outdoor barbeques take place in summer on Saturday evenings and special Sunday brunch menus are offered for select holidays such as Mother's Day and Easter. Seating is first come, first serve. For parties of six or more, reservations are accepted. To make your Yosemite restaurant reservation, please call (801) 559-4935 for Mother’s Day, Easter, & New Year’s Eve Brunches. Saturday BBQ’s are first come first serve with no reservations.

In Yosemite, our restaurants not only offer delicious fare, but by offering local, organic, sustainable food throughout the park, we are also doing the right thing for the environment. We've worked hard to establish partnerships with local farmers and businesses to bring you the freshest, most environmentally-friendly food that we can - and we think our great, farm-fresh flavors show in every dish we serve.
