Annual Sonora Christmas Parade
ADA Accessibility Notes

Ages Festival is Appropriate For
What makes this parade special is a combination of a charming small town holiday event that incorporates residents of all ages in a beautiful Sierra Nevada foothills setting. It's one of the largest holiday parades in the Mother Lode region.
You can't help but enjoy the home made floats, the kids, the animals, antique cars and fire engines, local politicians, etc. who make it look just like film versions of small town holiday parades from 100 years ago or more.
It starts at 5:30, always on the Friday after Thanksgiving and has come to attract a loyal annual following of several thousand people as it winds it way through downtown Sonora.
Everyone enjoys this parade because of the nostalgia factor, and it's small enough scale to let bystanders feel like they're part of it.
Pet Friendly Notes
Lots of pets on leashes. I wouldn't let them run wild as there are lot's of animals in the parade.
